Have you heard of this “new” group on Facebook?
It is called Australian Handmade Auction House and it is a new kinda place where some handmaidens sell their items over a period of 48 hours. It works on a bidding system ( like eBay ) but here you can see what the other persons places their bid at. On eBay it all goes “secretly” and you sometimes get all excited in a bidding war to loose in the end. Of course you could loose a bid on an handmade item in the Auction House as well but at least you can see who is bidding what amount.
All items up for auction are handmade in Australia by a selected group of Facebook business page owners. When the auction is over the highest bidder will need to contact the page who is selling the item ( or visa versa but some settings on Facebook won’t allow non friends to contact you ) and payments mainly go via PayPal. You give them your email address and they will send you an invoice and post the item soon after you have paid. Easy as!
Some of the items up for auction are quilts, purses, cushions, necklaces, toys and clothing to name a few.
Interested ?? Why don’t you click here, request to join the closed Facebook group and one of the admins will let you in. The next auction starts 30th of April. Perfect for Mothers Day presents here in Australia.
I will put my ETNO blog tour items up for auction!
See you there!
